Just recently got a new computer with Windows 7 and downloaded HEM from the site. Registered with my old serial code and it starts up but wont auto-import. I can manually import the hands, but a HUD never loads. Do I have to install Postgres? When I sign on my computer it says to either sign on under Postgres or User1.

If PostgreSQL isnt installed you wouldnt be able to import any hands.

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

When I sign on my computer it says to either sign on under Postgres or User1.

Unistalled Postgres then reinstalled it. Keeps telling me a connection can not be made.

I uninstalled everything and reistalled the combo installer. I get connected and I can manually import, but auto-import is not working?

Does the Auto Import and Stop Importing buttons work properly?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.
