View Full Version : New HEM update not recognising rush ante hands

I have updated my HEM and tried playing 6 tables of rush - 2 ante tables and 4 normal tables - all 6-max. I had previously kept all my rush hands seperate by using different databases, and with the update was pretty happy about not having to mix databases anymore. However, HEM isn't recognising the ante tables hands as rush poker, meaning its mixed all my rush ante hands in with my normal 6 max. Pretty annoying, when is this bug gonna be fixed?

Can you email me some of the ante hands to support@holdemmanager.net and also link to this thread so we can confirm this and get the bug fixed asap

sent the email as requested, here is how the hands are being listed, you can see that the 4 tables are listed ok as rush, and the other ante hands appear as normal.

I believe I am having this same exact issue! I play ante 6-max and it's not showing up as Rush in By Stakes report.

I just started a new DB and played some ante 6 max hands and they imported properly.

Ah okay, so we do have to start new database to properly import Rush hands and delineate them as such? I thought it was simply enough to be using 1.10.02. If this is the case, I'll create a new database and just re-import directly from my archive folder, correct, and all should be good?

i started a new DB yesterday, with latest version HEM .02 and its still not recognising them. Am i missing something obvious here???:confused:
Have you played both normal and ante at the same time and imported them all as rush?

You don't have the Rush Update or the new HMHUD.exe file installed.

http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdateRush.exe

Additions:

* Full FTP Rush HUD support
* Added option to include or filter out Rush vs Non-Rush hands in the HUD. (HUD Options/Additional HUD Filters.)

Rush Notes: The tables need to be sized appropriately. (600 - 750 range) If your Rush table is outside of that range a pop-up message in the HUD window will advise you.
Make sure your HUD doesn't overlap names on the table. We're using a screen scrape method for various reasons and the names must be visible so we can read them.
Most performance issues can be resolved by changing the table window size. See #1.
If you play on multiple monitors you need to keep your Rush table on the primary monitor otherwise HMHUD will crash. See ***Update*** below.

This isn't an official release, we just think the RUSH HUD is at a level where people can start using it. So far so good with our internal testing and that's why we've soft launched this here. If you have problems, please post in this thread and we'll address the problems. Eventually this thread will be locked, but please post feedback in the mean time.

*** UPDATE *** 2/9/2010
The multi-monitor HMHUD.exe crash being reported is fixed, unfortunately it broke a few things too. We could pull this build or keep it out for you guys and we decided to keep it out so people can use the RUSH HUD. We're working on tidying up the problems the fix introduced and we don't expect the next update to be released for a day or so.

*** UPDATE *** 2/12/2010
See this post for a update if you wish to get better performance from the RUSH HUD

Here's an update. We'd make a build for this but the build guy is at the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. Instead of making some of you wait for a real build, you can download this .exe and replace it with the one in the Holdem Manager folder.

http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/hmhud.exe

Make sure you close Holdem Manager before everwriting this file!

We'll have a more formal build put together a bit later when our Olympic hero gets back. :-)

* Fixed Multi-Monitor crash
* Better name recognition
* Larger table sizes work better
* "WindText.cpp Line: 943" crash should be fixed too

Enjoy,

Ah I see - so the HM HUD update MUST be installed for the main software to be able to file RUSH/non-RUSH hands? I thought the base 1.10.02 would do that automatically, but you're saying that HMHud.exe must also be updated for it to work (and no new database required).

Is that correct?

yes, install Holdemmanager Rush Beta from this link: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdateRush.exe, rename the file hmhud.exe to sth. like hmhud.exe.1.10.02b and replace it with the one for the Rush updates http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/hmhud.exe
