View Full Version : PS HH does not import if Hyper HUSNG ends after 1 hand

Hi

I just started playing a whole bunch of these Hyper HUSNG and notice that every one of these that ends after the 1st hand, the HH doesn't get imported into HEM, the HH and TH(Tournamet History) files are there right after HUSNG ends, maybe PS creates TH before HH, HEM imports TH 1st, sets the finish flag or something, and stops/ignores importing HH for that particular HUSNG.

I have to manually create a new HH file to have it import into my HEM DB.

Thanks

Please zip and mail the original handhistory and summary files of some sample tourneys together with a link to this thread and an explanation of the problem to support@holdemmanager.com. We will then try to reproduce the problem.

Is there a solution to this problem? I have the same problem as Nightrain

I can not find any hands sent to us by Nightrain. Letmik sent us one set of HH/TS files but they seem to import fine.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.11_10Sep2012.exe

Try importing the hands to a new database:

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

If you continue to have problems, Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

Any info about this problem if suggested lines actualy work? Looks like hem 1 plays some kind of bingo importing or not importing. First hand and once i noticed also last hand was missing. I want to make sure that fozzy lines are working before i go all this science. Hem 1 updated.

PS
It realy sucks because makes your ev line go down despite lost a hand with +ev move.

Did you try updating to:
http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.11_10Sep2012.exe
And the reimporting the hands and summaries into a new empty database? Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> Create New Database--> (set it as default)--> Start HoldemManager

Read the tournament summary section @ http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/6/PokerStarsSetup /

Please try this:
open file C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config\HoldemManager.config
if windows is 64bit - then see it in C:\Program Files(x86) folder
as text (in Notepad)
Find a line with
setting name="HoldemManagerPosition">Normal,0,0,1199,800
and set first two coordinates as in this example (0,0)
Save file and run HM

I got the hem on desktop now and it is working. But i dont know what is happening with that importing-running now for ~12hours!
It says at importing page- found xxxxx files to process- then it takes ~2h to "files imported" it also duplicate hands! and i am loosing disk space despite having originally 1.4gb of hands in the origin hmarchive.

Is it possible that this importings of packages of files are just circling in neverending importing and are duplicating until the disk jams? Can this happen? :)

Did you dump the large .txt handhistory files in an auto import folder, or they're in a folder and you're running a 'import from folder' on it?

Try running a import from folder on it.
When it's importing duplicate hands it will just skip them, so it shouldn't result in using up disk space.

pokerstars puts my hands in "c:/hand history" and the HEM then archive those hands in c/HMAARCHIVE and those hands in "c:/hand history" disapeare and they are then in c/HMAARCHIVE.

I didnt move manualy any files its just autoimporting itself after i tried that new database thing and went back to old databse and now it is imoprting 12hours + many hours.

I will put stuff fom c/hmaarchive in to c/handhistory hope it will work.

Had somehow c/hmarchive in the autoimport duties for hem and it was circling and reduplicating over and over agin:rolleyes:

Cost me couple of GB but now it is ok. Guess it is impossible to delete the clones?

If there are duplicate files in your archive folder, use a 'duplicate file finder' to delete them: Best Free Duplicate File Detector (http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-duplicate-file-detector.htm)

For what it's worth, I've had this problem as well with all games (not just hyper HU).

If you are importing THH, HEM will accurately graph the game played on your graph, but it will not import the individual hand (from the tournament that only lasted one hand) into the Reports file. Also if you are playing games with red lines (HU, 6-max, 9-max, fifty50), it will not record your red line for these one-hand tournaments (because it doesn't import the hand -- it just assumes you lost 100% of your equity in that tournament, even if you got it in on a flip and lost on the first hand).

HM1: update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.11_12Oct2012.exe
reimport your handhistories and summaries into a new empty database, and it should show the correct winnings for all these games.
(including for if you are allin the first hand)

pokerski

It is showing ~900$ different results for this month from reality and it says 220 tourneys are not completed after update.

You reimported the handhistories + summaries into a new empty database?

Email us a handhistory + summary file of such a game if it still shows it's a íncomplete' game.
Also open both files: check if the last hand was written to the handhistory file, and the finish position/winnings are written to the summary file.
