I have a couple of custom HUD layouts (Racetrack, Classic, etc) that I have saved and use. But I'm wondering where (in which?) they are saved. Are they in one of the preferences files?

What I'm specifically wanting is, when you make a new HUD and move the panels around, I would like to know where the specific panel x,y locations are stored. I want to be able to adjust mine, but in case I don't like it, I'd like to be able to restore the stats, as they are displayed on my HUD, to their exact current locations.

I hope that's clear. The actual panel (x,y) locations on my custom huds...where are those saved at.

TIA, fellas!

I think I found it...

the custom HUD layouts are saved in the HEM---->Config---> prefs.xml.

Will you just confirm that this is correct, please? Thanks!

Yes, your current set of custom HUDs are all within the prefs.xml file. You should, however, export any/all custom HUDs to individual HUDname.xml files. Then they can be archived, imported to other PC's, etc. On rare occasions a prefs.xml file can become corrupt in which case you want to delete it and create a new prefs.xml file. Once your default HUD works fine you will need to import all those individual HUDname.xml files again.
