Hi,

I'm posting for one of my students. We can't install HEM2 on his computer. We always get the error message that you can see in the picture. We didn't change anything.

What can we do?

Thanks.

Turn off User Account Control: How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 « My Digital Life (http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/30/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/) and reboot.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?
Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

Is he just installing to the default location and folder: C:/Program Files(x86)/HoldemManager
And his Windows user account name doesn't contain any special characters/symbols?

His user name was Marc-andré and we switch it to Marc andre with no success. We also turned off UAC. Everything is updated.

Windows 7 familly edition
Anti-Virus: AVG free edition
Windows Firewall

The problem seems to happen when it tries to install postgreSQL

Try changing his name to just Marc
