Hi,
yesterday I installed Windows 7.
I saved my HH from Full Tilt on another device and simply tried to import themto the new installed HM 1.10.02... I got only import errors, 1 per Hand, at sngs 10 to 100 per file.
I'm not sure bout my postgres, but it was installed with HM in one installation wizard.
I also set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe to be started as administrator.
I also switched the logon service to automatic.
Thanks for help
Greetings MGF

Are the handhistories in english?

Original handhistory files or exported from somewhere?

Original english files from FT.
I had vista before, it was no problem to import the same files there.

* Please try updating to the latest version 1.10.02 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

* Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure that holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

Make sure FT is setup correctly FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Full Tilt Setup (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/5/Full+Tilt+Setup)

* If that doesn't help, please check this and answer the questions at the bottom FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: My HUD Doesn't Work (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/48/My+HUD+Doesn't+Work)

Sry, but did you read one word more than the Title of this Thread?

I do have 1.10.02
I also mentioned, that the 3 Files are startedt as Admin
There is no Problem with my HUD!!! And even if I had a problem with my HUD, i wouldn't recognize it.

And know possible to understand for everyone:

1. What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
1.10.02

2. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?
only have FT-HHs; their import worked on Vista earlier the same day

3. Which type of game(s) are you playing? (NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT)
SNG, Cashgame, MTT... doesn't make a difference: every Hand is one import error(not every file, but every Hand)

4. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?
no, I importet manually... there is no Problem with my HUD!!!

5. Often times, it is one setting or option that's not correct in your poker client. Please see our Detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with poker sites to make sure your poker site is saving Hand History files.
Yes, but the new importet files(on windows7) make no different to the old Files(from Vista): every Hand is an error

6. Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the correct folder.
checked

7. If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database.
already tested!!!

8. Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work?
I have no Table finder... there is no Problem with my HUD!!!

9. If you open the hand history files, are they written in English?
checked... they had been imported to HM before on Vista

10. Make sure UAC is disabled and unselect it and restart if it is.
checked

11. Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

Don't know how to add files, but maybe you could first show some reaction to what I mentioned above and above that.
Thanks for Help

This is usually either a corrupt database or sometimes regional settings that cause the import errors, since you said you tried a new database and also disabled UAC and it was the same then can you try selecting english as the language and short date as the format and rebooting and trying again.

Im using Vista at the moment but it should be similar to get to this option:
Start > Control Panel > Regional Settings

Select English(USA) or (UK)
then look for an option to change date format to short if its not already selected, might be in "customise this format" section.

Im not suggesting you have to use English if thats not your language i just want to rule it out as the cause, if that fails email me paul.morny@gmail.com and we can arrange a teamviewer session if that suits

..
MGF mentioned logon service. ATM logon service is manuell and not started... do I need to change that?

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services > secondary logon > right-click > start AND right-click > properties > startup type: automatic.

Latest Beta is installed. Using new Database doesn't work.
Still every hand is an import error....

Make sure the hand histories are in English.

Please 7-Zip (http://www.7zip.org) the hands and email them to me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread.

SECONDARY logon service is running and automatic... I was asking about "logon service".

Make sure the hand histories are in English.

HH are the same which worked on vista; standard FTP and PS handhistories in English

*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: My HUD Doesn't Work

please read mgf's answers in this thread

ps.: I tried HMArchive HH's, autoimported FTP,PS,PP,iPoker HH's nothing works...

please help quickly, since I am not able to play for almost 2 days now

Please 7-Zip (http://www.7zip.org) some of the problem hands and email them to me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread.

I think you are going to want to try a complete reinstall of HM and PostgreSQL.

I would uninstall using revo uninstaller - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Using Revo Uninstaller (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/126/Using+Revo+Uninstaller+)

Fruto Seco

did revo uninstall and reinstall of both. stilll same problem

sending you handhistories wont help because once again: EVERY hand is one import error each; every single one of my over 1 million hands of which every hand import worked on Vista is now an error. I am sending you the ImportErrors.txt file...
and before you ask: Yes I have turned of norton and tried to import: same result

These hands imported fine for me.

Set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Restart your PC.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

*Try creating a new UTF DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Create / Delete Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database)
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: How to Import & Export Hands (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands)
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB
