Hi,

I've recently bought Hold'em Manager and installed everything. During the instalation process I changed the drive from default C into D (I have more space on this drive). I don't know if it's important for you, but letting you know anyway.

Afrer I had installed the application and tried to open it, I received the following error:

A valid licence could not be obtained for "Holdem Manager". Please contact RCG Software Ltd for assistance.

"Configuration system failed to initialize --> Unrecognized configuration section system.serviceModel. (C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Con fig\machine.config line 146)."

I think that the reason is that I didn't validate my software yet, as I wasn't asked to enter my validation code during the downloading process anywhere.

What am I supposed to do? Where to enter my validation code?

Thak you for your support,
Kind Regards!

I found this thread and did all of the steps except deleting two files mentioned. I just simply couldn't find them, so they are probably not on my drive:

I get the same pop up and I'm still unable to put validation code anywhere and open my Hold'em Manager. I appreciate your help.

Make sure your Windows is uptodate (Windows Update, Service Pack level)
Make sure that Microsoft .net Framework 3.5 service pack 1 is installed.

Hi,

- My Windows is updated into Service Pack 3;
- I have Microsoft.net Framework 3,5 installed along with 2,0 and 3,0;
- I created tex file Licdebug.txt file in the location mentioned;
- I couldn't find two files to be deleted:

C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic

- I have the latest version of the HM, because I've just bought it and downloaded yesterday
- I'm still getting the same pop up error while trying to launch the application

Any other things you guys can advice or we would have to schedule Teamviewer session?

Thank you for your time!

Hi,

Just FYI I'm posting solution which helped me with my problem, so Teamviewer session is no longer required.

That's the email I got from Fabio:

"Please reinstall your Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Uninstall your current version with this tool:
http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip

2) Download and install this one:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/6/1/061F001C-8752-4600-A198-53214C69B51F/dotnetfx35setup.exe

3) Try to register HM again

Thank you once again for your great support.
