HUD Not showing up/Sessions

I was receiving an error message when trying to upload HEM a few days ago. I kept getting the message that postgres could not connect, and so I searched the forums. I stopped postgres and then restarted it, and sure enough it worked. HEM would start up like usual, and I would start auto import when starting a new session, and my HUD stopped showing up. Also, none of my sessions got tracked when I look under my results, and sessions tabs. I updated to the newest version of HEM as well. Does anyone know what type of problem has occured? Thank you.

We need more details about your system like operating system, firewall, ....

So lets start with the basics:
* Please try updating to the latest version 1.10.02 final from the link in my signature.

* Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure that holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

When I try to update to that beta, I receive numerous popups that state that "The package was unable to replace the foloowing file Program Files/RVH Software/Holdem Manager/Glassbutton.dll, HEMGUI.dll, HMHUD.exe etc etc etc"

Reboot your computer and install the update as first thing after the reboot.

ok it worked, i was able to update properly and now my hud shows up, but none of my sessions are showing up.

Do the hands show up on other tabs like the Hands tab or Reports tab if you filter for Today, etc?

*Try creating a new UTF DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Create / Delete Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database)
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: How to Import & Export Hands (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands)
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB

after my 3rd session everything has been restored. however, none of my sessions from when it stopped working til today have been missing in the data base. I want to upload those HH's into the data base. what should i do? Thanks.

Did you create a new database to get it working, since none of the new hands showed up it might be that you manually imported them but didnt setup your auto import folders correctly, if you answer these questions at the bottom of the FAQ and attach your holdemmanager.config file we should be able to tell you if youve everything setup correctly
