Reboot your computer and try again.

Are you using HM 1.10.02?

basically what I'm saying is that I need another link to the microsoft package, or I need a workaround on the HEM update.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Update VISTA to SP2
Update XP to SP3

Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework (3.5 SP1) installed

Now when I click on holdem manager, it says that all HEM applications require .net Framework (3.5SP1) to be installed, when I go to the microsoft page, the link is not working, I repeat the link is not working. Is there any other link to download the .net framework (3.5sp1)? If not is there anything else I can do? I play for a living and it is very important that this gets solved quickly, thank you

Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Download and run this uninstaller - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

optimizing players

please give me more specific advice other than restarting my computer or running it as an administrator.
