Hi,

I've just installed HEM for the first time after binning PT3. It runs fine on my laptop but crashes on my x64 PC. According to the FAQ, I run DBControlPanel from the Hold'em Manager directory. However, this also crashes. So how do I get this running?

What the exact message you get when it crashes?

Are you running Vista or XP, if XP please uninstall .net Framework and reinstall it http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=14 if your running Vista please make sure UAC is disabled http://208.109.95.123/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

I'm running XP (x64). I've now uninstalled and reinstalled .Net 2.0. I still have the same problem. Running HM directly causes it to crash. Running DBControlPanel also results in a crash. The message I get is slightly different:

DBControlPanel has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Some other info:
.Net is the latest install (3.5 SP1) which includes 2.0 SP2.
Using Postgres 8.2
PT3 runs fine
Other .Net based programs run fine
HM runs fine on my xp x32 laptop (well it's crashed quite a few times, but not on start up)
Using latest version of HM from this site

I've already done this, which I mentioned in my initial post, and then again in my most recent post.

Sorry i did actually see that but for some reason i thought you had to right click DBControl Panel and choose run as and then admin but i think im mixing it up with something else, sorry about that. Ill ask Roy about this and get back to you.

Try reinstalling Hm, it solves it in most cases
