Hi
I tried to install the latest HME software in windows 7, but near the end of the installation it said that it couldn't install PostgreSQL.

I chose start manually when it said that I need to change the Secondary Logon.

I've tried to download the newest beta version of postgreSQL seperatly. What do I do?

under details it said:

try pass: postgres
try pass: postgrespass
Connection to database failed; -->could not connect to server: Connection refused(...Is the server running on host''127.0.0.1'' and accepting
TCP/IP conncetions on port 5432
<--error

testclient return from file: 1

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt > Right-Click > Run As Administrator

net user postgres /delete
3) Reboot.
4) Try installing this version of PostgreSQL - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Postgres_8.3.9-v1.0.7.exe

If that version also fails, start over at step 1, but try installing this version (after you download and unzip it to a new folder). http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/postgresql.zip

Hi fozzy
It worked, I got postgreSQL installed.

BUT

When I open poker tracker now, choose TRY (ill use my reg key when it works). It doesnt work. I says:

A non settled exception in the program. If you click continue, the program will try to ignor the error and continue. If you click Cancel, the program will close immidietly.

The file or the assembly 'PresentationFramework, Version=3.0.0.0.
Culture=neutral. PublicKey Token=31bf3856ad35'

The indicated file couldn't be read.

Can you please help me again?
Thanks alot!!

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

If it still won't open, try reinstalling using revo uninstaller:

1) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
2) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, choose the Select All > Delete buttons to remove any registry entries and leftover files.
3) Reboot your computer
4) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
5) Test if it for a while and see if it works
