View Full Version : ev calculations wrong on all in when other players act later

In the following hand, HEM gives the result as -$92.90, EV $ diff as $61.61, leaving -$31.29 as EV for AcJd9d7d.

This looks wrong as the hand is ahead or tieing in the main pot and the two side pots it is involved in.

Apparently EV has been calculated on the flop as other players were still active, but my hand (AcJd9d7d) was all in preflop.

the proper way to handle a pot where A is all-in preflop and B and C are all in on the flop is

- to allocate A's ev according to his preflop all-in equity
- to allocate what's left of the ev cake between B and C according to flop equity

I understand you are saying this is a new feature request rather than a bug...
