I can't write notes on my Holdem Menager HUD layout. Every time i write a note, 1 hand after, my note disappeare.

Well does anyone have problems like this?

I had this problem from the first day i start using Holdme Menager. Before i played on the Full Tilt and i write notes on the Full Tilt so holdem Menager was not a problem but now i stop playing at full tilt and i play now at Boss network.

Anyway Boss network softwar is so ugly and i can't write notes there so i need to do that on the Holdme Menager.

So if anyone know how to resolve this problem please tell me because without notes i can't play normally.

Also i use 1.10.01 version

On the TwoPlusTwo Fozzy tell me this:

__________________________________________________ _______________
Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

If you continue to have the problem, start a new thread on our forum with as many details as you can about your system and your problem.

I can't found "Run this program as an Administrator", i don't see that on the Compatibility Tab.

I have Windows XP SP3 32bit, Pentium 4 processor 3.0Ghz

Fozzys statements are not for XP.

Please post a screenshot of how you write a note.

Any additional software like AHK scripts, spyware, adaware, tuneup tools installed?

Ok i actually notice that in the first 20 min, 30 min i actully can write a notes and they stay at Holdem Menager but after that everything i write Holdem Menager delete.

I write notes while i playing, on the first picture i writed notes and marked player with green collor then i save and i open again to make a screenshot (before that hand finish) . Here is the picture.

Second picture is 3 hands after (hands number is blue color, next to the player name, on the first picture Hand number is 11 and on the second picture Hand number is 14), as you see green mark disappear from the player, note also disappear (i forget to open text box to show that)

I use only Holdem Menager.
I use only antivirus program: Bit Defender

Sorry for my English :)

Thats strange, i will test it later on my own.

Feel free to push this thread if you don't hear anything in the next 1-2 days.

I tested it on a Boss skin but it worked for me (Poker Heaven, XP SVP 3, HM 1.10.01).

So it may be sth. in your configuration. Do you have Options->Autorate->Enable Autorate checked?

Can you please create a new database and play some hands for a test?

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

- If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager.
- To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button.
- Click this and attach the file

I also have a similar problem. Most of the time I can open a note and write press save and it works.

Then maybe 1/20 times I click save and it doesn't actually save anything and just closes the note area as if I clicked cancel.
[Haven't found any possible connection]
[Have had this bug for a really long time]

The notes are saved in a table of the database. Try a new DB as a test. If the notes are remembered, you should export all your notes, hands, tourneys, from the old DB and import them to the new DB.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB

Find and backup your \HMArchive folder. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

Export Your Notes
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback - Options > Rakeback & Bonuses
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/rakeback-bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/tourney-data-view-01.jpg

and finally:

Export your hands and then open the new database and import them into that - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: How to Import & Export Hands (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands)

Once the Hands are imported you can import the Tourney Results and Bonuses/Rakeback

Created a new database and so far it seem to work as it should.

Thanks
