When I click on the vacuum analyze function in options I am directed to here:
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/88/Vacuum+Analyze+Database+ How can I use this function as it has always been used?

vacuum analyse doesn't work through the HM menu... yet

if you can't see it in Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > pgAdmin III (click the elephant icon)

Then...

Look in your program folders for PostgreSQL > 8.x > bin > pgAdmin3 ( & click the elephant )

Santa Barbara eh ? you are well named 'lucky stiff' it's bloody freezing here :)

We removed the vacuum/analyze from the HM menu. In 1.10.01 it just points to the FAQ.

I have followed these instructions but I see nothing that refers to vacuum/analyze. Come for a visit to thaw out.

Loki,

Thanks for the help. I'll see if I can follow these instructions without the need for a masters degree in computer science. Given the complexity of this maneuver, I fail to see that 1.10 is an upgrade.

Here is a good address for you in Santa Barbara. I'm certain a full English breakfast could be arranged.

Two adults + child in a standard room $375 a night with breakfast only an extra $50. Stay 2 nights & get the 3rd free. Almost as expensive as some London hotels, but better views & you get surfing girlies in wetsuits...

To justify those prices I would need to steal truck loads of the towels. I'm off to vacuum analyse my head

Good luck with the computing studies
