Hi, I just bouht a new notebook and it cames with windows 7 home basic.

Well, I tryed to install holdem manager with this new combo install pack and I got a message saying that could not install postgreSQL. After that, the following error msg appear:

try pass: postgres
try pass: postgrespass
Connection to database failed: connection refused
is the server running on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting
TCP/IP connections on port 5432?
<--error
1
testclient return status: 1
testclient return from file: 1

What I got from that is that the installer was trying to connect to postgreSLQ and didnt got the connection... Of course, its not installed...

but I go to the FAQ to try to install postgreSQL on my on and it says to install postgreSQL 8.4 that I cant find anywhere.

Can anyone help me please ?

Postgresql 8.4: http://www.enterprisedb.com/getfile.jsp?fileid=810
on some Windows 7 system 8.4 doesn't work but 8.3 does (no idea why).

Postgresql 8.3: http://www.enterprisedb.com/getfile.jsp?fileid=806
