Close your FTP client
navigate to the FTP installation folder
You see a file <your screenname>.xml, this is the new notes file. Rename it to sth. different.
Rename the file <your screenname>.bak0 to <your screenname>.xml and restart your ftp client.

If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html

If you sort by name you should be able to find it.

If you havent yet logged back in to full tilt and logged out, you may not see it. Just try to copy/paste the username.bak0 file and paste it into the same folder. Then rename this username - copy.bak0 file to username.xml. If you have another file named username.xml it will give you a warning when trying to save the same file name.

Sorry about not knowing how to find hidden files, I did the following:
You see a file .xml, this is the new notes file. Rename it to sth. different.
Rename the file .bak0 to .xml and restart your ftp client.
Still doesnt work, I am sry for wasting your time on this.
I now have a TeUnit.xml file(originally bak ext), a TeUnit(4) file(appears to have something to do with schemes, a TeUnitnotes file(original renamed) and then alll the bak backup files
Do you have any other ideas? should i delete all the "TeUnit.bak1. TeUnit.bak2etc files?
Thanks for your help,
TeUnit
