edited: can't change topic, new problem:
I had troubles connecting to postgresql database. After deinstalling it I get the following error when I try to reinstall:
"A service (postgresql-8.4) already exists. Please specify another name."
Can't find anything about that error. How to solve it? (I'm using the standalone postgres install because I would like to install postgres on a different HDD and the combo isntaller does not allow that)
