Hi,
I have set up a linux postgresql server like its described in the thread "HOWTO: set up a linux postgresql server for use with Holdem Manager".
The server has a quad core cpu with 8gb ram and two 750 gb hdd raid.
I connect to the server over the internet and everything works fine.
The problem is that the import speed is very slow (1.4h/s).
I tried all steps from the "Top 10: HEM performance increase tips" thread but it takes no effect.
Even if i create a new clean database the import speed is also slow.
Maybe i have to change something in the postgresql.conf?
