Holdem manager won't start

Hello, I recently downloaded the trial version of holdem manager (the one you get for free on this site) but it just won't launch. I double click on the icon and nothing happens, no error or anything else, what should I do ?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?


Update to: HM2: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/6971_Hm2AutoUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

I'm using Windows 7 x64, with AVG (free version) and I don't use any firewall (windows firewall is disabled)

- I updated to HM2 and nothing changed.
- The executable was already running as admin
- I tried adding an exception to windows firewall, nothing changed.
- My windows is up to date.
- UAC was disabled since the first day I installed this windows.

Is Windows updated to Service Pack 1?
There are no .net framework updates you can install when you run a Windows Update?
