Hi,
until today every thing was running smooth but now the HUD is causing delays when during multi-tabling at Stars a new table pops up.
I already vacuum analyzed the database, but I still have the problem.
Any ideas?
Best
B.

If using multiple panels or transparent hud backgrounds, turn those options off. Try using a single panel HUD with a solid black background panel, and turn the opacity sliders up to max.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? What are your machine specs?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/275/Windows+Firewall+%7B47%7D+Defender+Problems

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

I would suggest you do the majority of the things in this thread: http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11194

Some of the most important things, imo:

- Remove the WinnerName, WinnerCards and WinnerWon from the Options > Hands View Column Selecto
- Turning off logging and deleting existing logs
- Vacuum/Full/Analyze, then Reindex - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/88/Vacuum+Analyze+Database+#manual
- Defrag last and make sure you stop the postgresql service before you defrag. I personally use Smart Defrag.
- Do a Cold Boot (Shut Down > Start) before you use HM again

Everythings done, unfortunately no improvement at all.
Multi-tabling absolutely not possible.

I use a Dell Latitude E6400, 2,4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, Vista, Norton 360.

Make sure you are not having a problem with your stars notes file becoming (ridiculously) large.
