Database on flash drive

Hi, would an 8 gig flash drive load my database faster than the standard set-up? Thanks.

Is the 8 GB flash drive a: USB 2.0 memory stick? Or some special USB 3.0 RAIDDrive?
What's the speed of the drive? Run a CrystalDiskMark benchmark on it. To see what the read/write speeds are.

Only in rare occasions (such as the USB 3.0 SuperTalent RAIDDrive) will it be faster than a regular harddisk.
