new panel button missing?

so I just updated to the latest version of hem and I can't seem to find the new panel button on the hud configuration screen although I've seen it on some screen shots posted here

hud options > player preferences > choose configuration > pick your custom hud config.

You shouldn't customize the default HUD. It should be set to a site you never play on the Use For tab.

Appearance tab > [x] Use Multiple Panels

First enable "use multiple panels" in the appearance tab.
That will give you the add new panel button
