View Full Version : PLEASE HELP ME - I am freaking out @ HEM!!!

Can anyone PLEASE HELP ME...

I am seriously angry and upset and have been battling for more than an hour to get this to work now still with no success.

I am running windows 7, installed HEM, and now I cant get past the SQL database issue. When I say yes, it just says it cant start the service and I can open HEM...

I tried looking in here C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.4 for the DATA folder as one of the FAQ links suggested, but I do not have a DATA folder in there...

sigh :(

Did the Postgresql installation succeed?
Is the Postgresql service running?
Can you connect via pgadmin?
Any 3rd party firewall which prevents Postgresql from running?

Is the Postgresql service running? NO - I have tried starting the service - doesnt wannt help
Can you connect via pgadmin? No - But not 100% sure how to do this - please advice
Any 3rd party firewall which prevents Postgresql from running? No, I have turned off most applications and am just running Windows 7

Any error message you get during the Postgresql installation?

Did you start the secondary logon service? http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=21121
