HM10 don't launch and there's an error message.
I have Vista, UAC on, HM & HUD & database run as administrator, postgreSQL 8.2, microsoft.net framework 3.5 SP1
I think this is a problem with holdem vision because i have the same message error with holdem analytics.

If someone with this problem wants to test:

- update to 1.10 final again.
- if it crashes again:


This failure is likely caused by your video driver. Please check for an updated driver.

To verify that this is a driver issue, and work around the problem, the user can disable Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) hardware acceleration. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa970912.aspx.

Ok just wanted to say, i got it fixed now. I installed all Windows Vista upgrades for NET. Framework. Hope that helps all the others who had the same bug.

I use xp , and tried to fix it moving the hardware acceleration to full to none but it doesnt fix it.

The only way i could make it run is with F8 mode so far, so maybe is just some kind of setting im missing, but at this point im clueless

Ok just wanted to say, i got it fixed now. I installed all Windows Vista upgrades for NET. Framework. Hope that helps all the others who had the same bug.

What are the latest ones? I tried to install some 3.5 SP1, is there anything after that?

I'm also having this issue with HEM 1.10 not starting. I didn't really understand what this Graphics Rendering Registry Settings (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa970912.aspx). meant, and I tried this http://www.deskshare.com/help/msrpro...eleration.aspx, but got to the last step and Windows won't allow me to reduce the hardware acceleration.

The only reason I even care about fixing this for 1.10 is to get the Rush poker update.

1) Uninstall your current version with this tool: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2) Download and install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/6/1/061F001C-8752-4600-A198-53214C69B51F/dotnetfx35setup.exe
3) Try to register HM again

Also Please install the latest version (1.10.02): http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe if you havent already

This also worked for me, finally hm seems to run since v 1.09
