I am playing two table sit and go-s on PokerStars with a payout structure of 40%-30%-20%-10%. I have noticed something very interesting, namely that under "TOURNEY > Results > Graph", after around 20 days, I have never ever had a day when my tournament "luck adjusted winnings" was below my tournament results. After examining the tournaments individually, my luck adjusted winnings have always been greater than or equal to my real winnings, and never below that.

Furthermore, whenever I won a tournament, my luck adjusted winnings always equal my total winnings, namely 40% of the prize pool minus my buy-in. This is obviously not correct: suppose I won the last hand with 22 against AKs, where I had around 50% chance of winning. Suppose that the stacks were equal, i.e. 13500 - 13500 chips. In this case, my luck adjusted winnings should never exceed 35% minus my buy-in, and following this reasoning, my luck adjusted winnings should never be equal to 40% minus my buy-in, since my opponent always has some percents chance to win the last pot.

My graph is very similar to the one seen in this post:

(although I only have a sample of around 700 tournaments).

Could you examine why this problem persists for 2 table sit and gos?
