You released 1.10 in the beginning of january, followed by 8 betas. Any now, on 20th you released 1.10 again?

Is this the "official" release?

okay, thanks. :)

So I just name it "Beta 10". it's less confusing.

1.10 Beta 1 comes before the release of 1.10. It is a beta of the not yet released version. Once released, if we need to make an update to the released version it gets named 1.10.01, .02, etc. Once the release version is adequately stable we will go on to the 1.11 Beta versions, before we finally release 1.11. I am sure there other ways to do it, but this is the method the developer has been using for 3 years now, so I doubt it will get revised much.

If this is true then why when I DL the 1.10.01 update is the file name HmBetaUpdate.exe? Since 1.10.01 isn't really a beta it's an update to a release version why the beta in the file name. I'm confused.
I have 1.10 installed do I DL 1.10.01 beta to update to the latest released version?

You can update with either HMBetaUpdate or HMUpdate currently and the reults will be the same. There is no beta currently so we uploaded the stable release 1.10.01 as HMUpdate and HMBetaUpdate. When we release the first 1.11 Beta version it will be uploaded as HMBetaUpdate and the HMUpdate file will remain our upgrade for the current, stable 1.10.0x version.
