Hi,

For those who don't know, LockPoker left the Merge Network and bought out CakePoker and joined/created the revolution network. Seems that they've taken over the cake poker client now. Wondering if there's any support planned (or existing) for this new network?

Thanks in advance!

They took over the Cake network and rebranded it Revolution. They did not take over the Cake poker skin. Just to clarify.

As of now, existing Cake support *should* work because AFAIK they're using the standard Cake client which HM2 claims to support. I've not tried it yet, I got the client downloaded after midnight when they switched, but they didn't come online for login until this morning.

Since Lock was my primary site before the switch and I didn't bother transferring my BR to another Merge site, I expect I'll be playing there under duress because I hate the Cake software. However Lock has promised a lot of software changes, so I really hope HM2 stays on top of it and keeps itself working with minimum downtime.

One things of note: The old Cake network somewhat hobbled trackers -- even after they allowed HUDs -- by their name change policy. Users could change their sn once per week which made historical tracking difficult. Lock has announced that they are killing that policy and name changes will no longer be allowed. So that's good news at least.

I'm more interested in HEM1 support. So far I can't get it working but I'm sure it's an easy fix for these guys! :D

Sorry, my mistake. I was browsing by new posts, not by forums, and missed that this was in the HM1 forum. Although I thought I saw something recently about Cake support being worked on for HM1, but I neither played Cake (well until Lock now) nor use HM1 anymore so haven't followed it closely.

Thanks for your reply ;) I did some further digging and it appears that HEM1 does NOT support cake MTT HHs (HEM2 of course does), so I guess this is just how they force you to make the upgrade.\

Cash tables appear to work in HEM1, although with some difficulties.

HM1 Cake update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.10_31May2011.exe
Note: I read in the release list there was a HM1 Cake update in this build, but I couldn't find the details of what that update actually is.

I'm not sure what the update addresses for Cake.
For Cake, also check the auto import folders: are the hands still being saved, to which folder (is this a new location?).. is that folder added as an auto import folder?

Also try the TableFinder: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/ConfiguringTableFinderToShowHUD

(as a temporary fix use the TableFinder if you still don't get a HUD)
