Hi,

I'm reinstalling HEM due to a change to Windows7. As requested I'm starting with installing postgre. I've followed the instructions at your site.
At the final step (at "Initialize database cluster") I'm receiving the following failure notice and cannot step forward:

"The 'Secondary Logon' service is not running. This service is required for the installer to initialize the database.
Please start this service and try again"

Could you please instruct me how to solve this?

THX

On the HM homepage it is recommended to install postgre first. Or should I install Holdem Manager and after that the postgre? I don't know how to set as administrator that exe files. Confused. Could you please give me a detailed way to work everything? Thx

At first you need to install postgresql, without it Holdemmanager will not start.

For the Administrator rights: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=21121
Its the same for Vista and Windows 7.

Okay, I've found a thread that covering the same problem and advised by fozzy71 to install another version of postgresql (pginstaller.exe) first:
http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=2735

I've succesfully installed that file and then started again with the installation of the original postgre, but received the following message at the end:

Network error
Error binding the test network socket: 10013

Could you please let me know what should i do?

Solved the issue. Uninstall that old file, set secondary logon to auto and instell postgre. Now it's working. For anybody else having the same problem in Windows 7.
