After PokerStars software update HM1 started :
- to show previous hand showdown holecards (very annoying)
- shows player HUD stats with biiiiig delay. Hud shows the player stats that I was playing with 2-5 hands ago - so you won't get current player stats. I noticed also that folder \Importing\HUD Data are missing *.dpf files.

I was using 1.12.10a I think ealier than 25 may update but surely later than 22. april update. After Pokerstars update I downloaded 25 may HM1 update but it didn't help. While installing it said something about Blitz.dll but I rebooted PC and new installation was without errors.

Our tests didn't show any problems so far. Can you please reboot your computer another time and try again?

Restarted and played with 2 Zoom tables and problem still remains.

Usually there are 3 files for every table in folder RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\HUD Data with extensions:
*.hh,*.dat,*.dpf.
That *.dpf files are now missing.

Close HM1. Close PokerStars.
Run http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.10_25May2012.exe

I had exactly the same issue (Zoom HUD not working after the last PokerStars update).
Try both starting HM1 first. When HM1 is fully loaded. Run PokerStars. Then start the auto import.
Also try running PokerStars first. Then open HM1 and start the auto import.

Tried both ways. It didn't work. Hud shows players form those hands that hands are finished. So quite old information for running hand - players are already new.

Do you have live tracking turned on for PokerStars?

When you play Zoom + start HUD in HM2, please sent your full log.txt file, located in the following folder to hm2support@holdemmanager.com:

Windows 7: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

XP: c:\documents and settings\{username}\appdata\HoldemManager

Where I can check this live tracing status?
I am using HM1 not HM2. Only reasonable log I found was C:\Program Files (x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs\log.txt and id held few lines:
1.12.10a 4/2/12

loaded cards
loaded iconsloading prefs
loading prefs 2

live tracking is located in HUD options, site options.
I send them same file but I enabled logging before and played 1 orbit. U can enable logging in HUD options, Table Preference.

I turned live tracking on (HUD options -> Site options), restarted HEM/Stars. Nothing changes. I noticed that live tracking points at "C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\HEM Data" in case of PS but I do not have such folder under "Program Files".
"C:\Program Files (x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\HEM Data" exists but it is empty. I changed site options to use this folder but also - no help and folder stays empty.

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot of your desktop - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
4) The "\rvg software\holdem manager\importing\hud data" folder AND the \appdata\roaming\hem data folder.

Please Zip these folders and email them, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

Try both starting HM1 first. When HM1 is fully loaded. Run PokerStars. Then start the auto import.
Also try running PokerStars first. Then open HM1 and start the auto import.

Such manipulations worked for me before update. What happens now is if I get it "right" there is one hand delay in hud (which means it shows stats for players in previous hand) and if I get it "wrong" stats don't change at all.

There is no such file (or even path) on my computer.

PS updated today morning for me. Yesterday night it was working perfectly so I am pretty sure I have all the correct HM options checked. Is there any more feedback I could provide for you ?

There is no such file (or even path) on my computer.

PS updated today morning for me. Yesterday night it was working perfectly so I am pretty sure I have all the correct HM options checked. Is there any more feedback I could provide for you ?


I have the same problem after PS update this morning. Any ideas?

I am sending you a PM with a possible fix we are testing so we can get your feedback. The sooner you can test this and let me know your results the sooner we can release a proper update for everyone else.

I instaled latest version of HM1 and still the same problem. Before PS update, my HUD worked properly without hero stats, but sometimes hero stats apeared anyway when i launched HM and PS ( ~5 % of the time ) , and i had the same problem as today. Then i had to restart HM and after that everything worked fine.

But after today's update hero stats apeared 100 % of the time when i opened zoom tables. Maybe hero stats causing problems with HUD somehow.

We need more feedback from zoom customers to make sure this fix is working before we release an official update. Please follow the instructions below and let us know if it does or does not work. Make sure you tell us if you are using HM1 or HM2 when posting again with your results.


HM1:

Yes , now HUD is workin' perfectly. 1 hour ago i forgot about to replace Blitz.dll in my HM1 folder. Thanks very much.

The sooner you can test this and let me know your results the sooner we can release a proper update for everyone else.

It instantly worked perfectly for me. Played for about 10 minutes and had no problems.

ETA: in fact it's much better than it was before because stats now update without any delay;

Hello. Im using hm1 and i did everything u said and after 30minutes of playing 3 tables zoom i can say that everything works almost perfectly-my hud has frozen for something like 3-5hands and after that it went back to perfect work

It fix that stats behind problem but now I have my old problem back. Stats are moving every hand.

Worked like a charm yesterday, but when i started playing today i had the same problem. The HUD stats are not live.

HM2:

Please make sure you have the latest HM2 public build #6866:

Please update to the latest build via HM2 > Settings > Check For Updates

If you have any problems auto-updating, use this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_2_Beta.exe

I have tried it more than once and again, yesterday it worked like a charm. Tried everything today, including startup sequence and downloading the files again.

Which ps.xx skin are you on and what is the pokerstars client version number? None of our testers are having problems today with stars 5.880 client.


Did you also make sure to install the latest update BEFORE you did the dll file? Are you sure that HM and Stars were both closed when you did the .dll file manipulation? Please make sure you follow the directions exactly or it won't work. If stars/hm is open the dll file wont be replaced properly and if you replace the dll file before you update the new dll file you manually replaced will get replaced with the old dll file from the update patch.

I am using the .eu skin with client 5.876. I noticed a blitzerr notepad file on my computer. Under every hand i've played today it says 'polled'. Yesterday, when the HUD worked, it wrote down all the player names/seats in the notepad. Maybe that has something to do with it?

The blitz.dll file was supposed to be placed into the \holdem manager folder.

Here is the latest patch that contains the dll file so you dont have to do it manually. Make sure you close HM and stars before running this file.

Even with the new updates, i can't get it to work. As long as holdem manager is running, the blitzerr file checks twice a second if i'm playing. Somehow it doesn't recognize when i'm playing or not. It still says 'polled' every time it has checked.

That file is supposed to do that. Mine does the same thing and I dont/cant play on stars.

Make sure you have installed the latest update patch from 31May and make sure you are installing it to the proper path (in case you installed HM to a non-default path it won't auto-detect it. Right-click your shortcut to holdem manager > properties > and check the Start In: path.
