I had the program working but not the Hud so I messed with it some and now I can't even open holdem manager because of this error

an error ocurred on startup:access to the path 'C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\fishfinder\filterv2' is denied


what do i do??? Help me as i am a coupmuter idiot!!!!!

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Ok, I got the program working again, now i just need to figure out how to get the HUD working. I am importing hands with no problem on suto import but the hud won't pop up on my tables. I am using FT and Vista.

Make sure the hand histories are in English.

Thx for the reply --- The HUD magically worked on a set of ten sit and gos that i did. But now I can't get it to work again. I am just doing a play money table so that I can move the stats to where i want them but they wont show up. The table does however show up in table manager but no stats for the players. I am soooooo close. any suggestions??

Ok, I seem to have everything working fine now. I do have a couple of questions though. I play sit and go's by the way.

When a hand is finshed it displayes the results or hand history of the last hand. how do I stop this from happening??

There is a box in the top left corner of the table that has some stats that I don't need. How do I get rid of this?? Looks like some kind of cash game stats.

My stats only update for the current table that I am at. Should this be the case?

When a hand is finished and there is a showdown, it displays the winning and mucked cards. To turn this off: HUD Options--> Table Preferences--> Won/Loss mucked

The box with the average table stats (VPIP/PFR and three last pots):
To turn this off: HUD Options--> Player Preferences--> Appearance tab--> Show table avgn

Yes, YOUR stats start at 0 for every new SNG. (so you know what your table image is at that table)

Is there a way to adjust the size of the Hud #'s for each player. I would like to make them smaller if possible. thx.

Change the font in HUD OPTIONS--> Player Preferences
for every stat

As an addendum:

On the Appearance tab you can change the font for all stats at once.

On the Stats tab you can change each stat independently, if you want some stats bigger than others.

Stats > Display These Stats > Options for 'selected stat'
