Hi,

Next week I will be going to Europe for 5 weeks.

I was wondering what the best way is to copy my database to my laptop. Is it exporting all hh files, or is there a faster/better way to do this?

Also I have HM installed on 2 pc's. Now I want to install HM on my laptop, but instead of buying another license, I would friendly ask HM to disable my current version on my pc, since I won't be using that version for the 5 weeks I'm gone.

The quickest method, if you have an external hard drive for transferring the \data folder, is to install a copy of your current \data fol;der to the new pc - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=177

The next quicker method is to make a .backup file and restore it using the same version of postgresql - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=12

Please try using our registration system to register your current/new license. Then you will be able to retrieve or reset your own license, as needed. http://www.holdemmanager.net/Registration/

To get your current license from your running installation of HEM: Help > Show Serial Number

You will need to sign up, login, and then reset your code, then logout/login, to verify it was reset.

I'm installing postgreSQL on my laptop, and during installation I'm gettting this error message:

The 'Secondary Logon' service is not running. This service is required for the installer to initialize the databse.
Please start this service and try again.
