Hello.

I have a hudsetup that I got from a friend it works on his computer and we have the same computer, play on the same sites and have the same version of HM.

I import the file then chose it in the dropdown list and press apply
then I go to use for and chose any site and press apply.

When I fire up replayer or a table my old hud still shows up

So frustrating cause I have done exactly the same precedure as my friend and his worked without any problems.

Please help.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Change the filename of his HUD to "nameofyourfriend.xml" and import it in the HUD options--> Player Preferences---> and apply/save

You are probably not configuring the Use For tab properly. The Default HUD should be set to a site you never play. You should make a clone of the HUD and assign it to the Replayer, the same way you assign it to a poker site.
