Do Not Add C:/ for any Auto Import Folder

I had a question about this.

"Under setting up auto import folders" in the manual it says not to add to C:/.

Sorry, but what exactly are we not putting under C:/? Where should we be putting it? Where should we keep our archive?

Hi,

You just don't want to use "c:\" by itself as an auto-import folder because Holdem Manager by default scans sub folders. If you used c:\, it would constantly be scanning your whole computer like a virus scanning program would.

I'd try using the auto detect feature that can be found in 1.10 releases.

okay, I think I understand what you are saying.

So as long as we are folowing the instructions on the manual we should be fine...

I just want to make sure that I am doing things right since I am not computer savy.

Can you explain this again like you are telling the most computer stupid person ever? ....because at time I think I may be that person. lol!
