I have just bought Holdem Manager and am having trouble intalling postgress. Am not hugely computer savvy so is it poss a mod could talk me through a few problems.

It is telling me that the data directory is not empty etc etc and not sure what this means.

Any help would be appreciated and sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum.

thanks.

I just went throught the install and unclicked the cluster option as it says i already have a data base and it started to install but then says user 'postresuser' already exists and aborts the download??????

Any MODS or Holdem Manager staff can help me?? Is there a number to call for assistance, this seems ridiculously hard to install unless you are a computer wizard!!

I think I need to delete everything (database?????) I have tried deleting all the programmes but this database remains there. I think the first time i installed it i didnt use the password provided (prostgres......) and just want to scratch it all but have no idea how, I can find anything on vista about deleting databases??????????

Sorry I have no computer skills.

hi

thanks for your reply.

I think what has happened is that when i first set up the pasgress thing that I entered the wrong password, and then the install was interrupted.

I try again with all the correct passwords given and the username postgresuser and it says that this username is already taken.

Is there anyway I can start again from scratch as it seems that there is some kind of database (i have no clue) and it wont let me go fiurther than error messages.

If I give you my product code can you erase all the stuff I have done so I can start from scratch.

All the stuff you sent in your mail means nothing to me like versions etc, I'd hope I bought the latest version?

Thanks.

I just installed it with this link you gave me, holdem manager is running now but is completley blank, and I cant see where I'd need to enter the product code or just any info on how to get any info on it? I pressed auto import and it says there are no files??

Is this what the database is? How do I access it??

When you start HM a splash screen gives you the option to Register or Try it.

Close HM, restart HM, click Register, and finish the registration process.

If you have any problems, please try using our registration system to reset your license. http://www.holdemmanager.net/Registration/

You need to setup your auto import folder to match your poker site hand history folder.
