Today I finishing moving all of my poker software to my new desktop. I successfully transferred my HEM database, along with my Full Tilt client and all of their respective configurations.

I played 2 sessions today, each about 1 hour in length. Only about half of the hands from each session are showing up in the reports tab (although some hands from each session are there).

I have reimported the hands from today, and HEM tells me it has imported 1659 hands (1659 duplicate hands actually). However, in all the reports, only 704 hands are showing up.

I checked how many hands were in the database on my old laptop, and there are 704 fewer then there are on my new desktop.

My question is: why can't I see the other 955 hands?

Thanks,
Rob

I have discovered another bit of information:

Looking in each HH file, HEM seems to be skipping hands. In some files, its skipping every other hand, in other files it skips 2, then writes one, then skips 4, then writes one. I can't seem to find a pattern.

The hands I played are definitely in the HH files, they are just not making their way into the reports.

Make sure your using this version http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.06.03h.exe and then move all those HH to a new folder otherwise HM will ignore them as it tried to import them files from the same folder already and then reimport them.

If there still missing then create a new database http://208.109.95.123/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and move the files to a new folder and reimport them all just to verify its not something wrong with the old database

If they dont import again with the new database using the new version them please email me the HH to morny@holdemmanager.net

Hi Morny - thanks for the quick reply.

Starting a new DB and importing the hands from yesterday fixed my problem. Now my question is: should I reimport all my old hands into the new DB to avoid further problems? or is there something else I should do instead?

Thanks again,
Rob

Yeah you should now export your hands from the old database http://208.109.95.123/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=12 just follow the very first step to export hands the backup ect isnt neccessary, then open the new database and reimport the HH using Import from folder
