View Full Version : HUD Zoom problems

Hi, the last two weeks, I haven't been able to make my HUD work on Stars Zoom tables.
It occoured after an automatic update for PokerStars.
The problem is that the HUD is only showing for like 5-6 players, and after first hand the HUD get messed up. Suddenly it switches around the names of the players, while I still miss a number of HUDs equal to the number of players where there should be a HUD.
I have been looking through the resent forum threads, but haven't found a solution.
I downloaded and installed the 18May 2012 update, restarted computer, and the problem remains the same.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?


For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party fir ewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

Hi thanks for the answer.
I followed your instructions but the problem remains.
I took a screenshot and uploaded to ImageShack http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4498/hudproblem.png (bad quality for some reason, but you should be able to see that not all names are correct, and also that there clearly is missing 2-3 HUDs on each table)

Just to make it clear, it worked perfectly fine before the Stars update about 2 weeks ago. Nothing has been changed on my computer.

it says: The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
I'm using Vista, and this is the only version of your updates where it tell me this.
