Hello,

So I just downloaded Holdem Manager and opened up the program and got started with it. I set it up to import hands and got that working fine for all my past hands. However, when I start up a game and click start importing, there is always an import error and also my HUD does not work at all even after playing 50 hands. Below are the answers to the questions provided in the FAQ section under the Help menu:

__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ___________________________

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12? HEM 1.10 beta 7

2) What Poker Site are you playing on and which gametype and does the problem occur on more than 1 site? Full Tilt Poker, NLHE

2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button? Yes

3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site? Yes

4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory\moose_334

5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? The previous hands are all imported, but no current hands will import. It says after each hand in HEM that there was an import error

5a) Do they import if you create a new database?

6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work? NO, but Table Manager works sometimes

7) If you open the HH are they written in English? Yes

8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled? Yes

9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file? I dont know how to do this

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20754

9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file? I dont know how to do this

This is explained in a link in that FAQ.

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config.

- If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager.
- To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button.
- Click this and attach the file.

I created a new UTF database and imported a couple hands and it did not work. I followed your steps and unfortunately it did not help. Also, I tried to attach my config and I am just simply unable to do it. I click manage attachments and browse files and go to Program Files, select RVG Software, then Holdem Manager, then I click the Config and tried to attach it, but it just goes deeper into that file and I am unable to only attach the Config. Please Help. I am pretty competent when it comes to working with programs and the forums and for some crazy reason I just cannot figure this darn thing out. SO FRUSTRATING, I have been working on it for hours and tried everything.

I may have figured it out with the attachment. Let me know if this is the right one.

Thats it, but all the basic things in your configuration look good for me.
It doesn't work with a new database - the files are in english and you only get import errors?

Thats strange - please check the regional settings of your windows installation. Set them to English(US). Does that help?
If not please zip and mail some of the original handhistory files with a link to this thread to support@holdemmanager.net
