Can someone please give me a hand here. It is either due to the pstars update or the windows update (I think pstars), but I cannot get any hands to import into holdem manager. The hh are still being imported into the proper folder, but I can import then into holdem manager whether I do it automatically or manually. I re-installed the latest patch (which I was already running on), but that doesn;t help either. Any insight is appreciated.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Make sure the hand histories are in English.

Try the table finder - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=54

Fozzy,

I downloaded the new beta (the first 2 times it would not download). On the third time this error popped up" unhandled exception: the type intiializer for scanner.form1 threw an exception:.

I got the beta to download, but it stated that there was another error and now it is stuck at the holdem manager initializing database screen.

Also, just as a fyi this was a fully functioning db for months until these issues came up (so everything is set up to run as admin).

Thanks,

just as a fyi the unhandled exception error is what pops up prior to the HM getting stuck on the initializing db screen

fozzy,

I figured it out. Even though it was already running as admin, once I did it again it uploaded a new file that now has everything working fine.Thanks.
