Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

Boss have moved the location of the hand history in order to better support Vista. New location of HH: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Boss Media\Casino\Casinoname\history\ (XP) or C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Boss Media\Poker\Client (Vista)

If you have vista or w7 make sure HM is running as admin.

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

That means that UAC is off. This should allow all applications to always run as administrator. On very rare occasion I have seen UAC be turned off but HM is still not running as administrator, but you should be OK just turning off UAC in Vista >99% of the time.

when I've got you here...I downloaded the latest beta and was then able to import hands from Boss. But this only works when I do manual imports from the folder. If I set it up as an auto import nothing happens? Any suggestions?

* Please try updating to the latest beta version 1.10 Beta 8 from the link in my signature.

* Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure that holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

* If that doesn't help, please answer and post these questions: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174
