First of all I'm glad beta 7 fixed some of the problems I was having and thank you for that.

However I'm having new problems. I'm trying to import some mined hands and I get these errors every time I do it:

<a href="http://img19.imageshack.us/my.php?image=error1o.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/3984/error1o.th.jpg" border="0" /></a>

Immediately followed by this:

<a href="http://img194.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hemt.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/8928/hemt.th.jpg" border="0" /></a>

This happens right after updating to beta 7. I tried playing a few tables without problems importing hands with auto import. Haven't tried anything more than 3 tables yet. The errors occurred when I use the import from folder option.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

If on XP: upgrade to XP Service Pack 3

This only happens with the mined hands? What version of PostgreSQL? Have you tried creating a new DB or reinstalling postgresql?

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread, to support@holdemmanager.net

Yes it only happened with mined hands. I tried using a rarely used database to import those hands and it was working fine.

However, for whatever reason, it's working fine now. I'm importing the hands as I type this. I didn't change anything, didn't even restart my computer. It just starts working on its own for some strange reason.

Well, I spoke too soon. It happened again just now. Same error. The mined hands came in different folders so what I'll do is to try to import them one folder at a time and I'll send you the folder(s) that I'm having problems with.

However I'm having a new problem. I just tried to vacuum the database and this is what comes up in the middle:

I clicked cancel and here I am. I'm hoping that my database is not corrupted. It has over 3 mil hands in it and it'll be a huge pain in the ass to have to re-import those hands.

How long has postgresql been installed? I am probably going to suggest a clean reinstall of the newest version. If you decide you want to reinstall postgresql, use these steps - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=20755

Make sure you export/backup everything from your current DB before you reinstall. http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20754

This is postgres 8.3. It's been installed on this computer for around 6 months now. I was kinda hoping that it wouldn't come to this. This is gonna be fun to reimport those hands.
