Please Help
Please address me in simple terms I'm a relative computer dummy.:confused:

the following error occurred

System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException: Cannot create instance of 'GameStatistics' defined in assembly 'HoldemVision, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Error at object 'System.Windows.Controls.TabItem' in markup file 'HoldemVision;component/control.xaml'. --->

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

I assume HM worked fine with your anti-virus previously?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate


If that doesn't help you will probably want to do a quick reinstall using revo uninstaller - http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20816

yes everything worked fine with my antivirus, firewall etc

have done the uninstall/install as outlined twice and both times same error

seriously tilting - what's next in the adventure- thx for your patience:(

tried uninstalling and re installing postgresql

(getting desperate)

am being asked to use main MSI file to install ... What's this?

If that doesn't help you should try uninstalling your anti-virus/firewall temporarily and reboot.
