fixed hero seat position in the replayer

I have a feeling this has been requested, but I couldn't find it in a search.

Can you please allow the hero to have the same fixed seat in the replayer for each hand -- just like they do on pretty much every poker site? Would be a nice feature and, I imagine, not that hard to implement. Thanks.

I have written this up as a feature request on the list to address. While I do not have a specific date for when this feature might be added, we are putting out updates regularly.

The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-4953. We will often release builds on a limited basis, only in the forums for a few days first, so please check back on this thread http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/ for that ticket #.

I heard there was some kind of mailing list to subscribe to any updates regarding this request. I would really appreciate if you added me to that list to know when it will be avalaible.

Also i would love if you could move up the ladder this feature, it is quite simple and would make tons of users quite happy :)

I have added your email address to the ticket so we can notify you once we have fixed it. We are working on a completely new replayer but this feature has not been incorporated yet. I added a comment to make sure they don't forget about this feature request so hopefully it can be added to the new replayer at some point in the future.

Ok thank you very much, I hope the new replayee comes out soon and has this feature included. Also i hope its performance is improved, since the HUD takes lots of time to load the stats and stuff.

The new replayer will hopefully be out in just a few weeks if our internal alpha testing goes well but it will likely not include this feature when first released. The performance seems to be somewhat improved but there are still some lingering performance issues we are trying to address that are related to the HUD in the replayer and not the replayer itself. For now the only work around is to use a HUD in the replayer without any notecaddy badges. You can assign a basic HUD without badges to the Site: Replayer in the HUD Settings > Site Options menu.

We don't make that information public. We are planning to add this feature in the new replayer but it won't be part of the first release of the new replayer.

The # and status of open tickets is constantly changing. We used to keep an updated and stickied thread, and it accomplished nothing. There was no benefit at all, and it required a lot of maintenance.

Hmmm, that sounds like honest and reasonable answer. Too much work and not that much benefit, right ? Well you guys could consider showing us at least 10 biggest hottest things u r working on atm. That wouldn't take that much maintenance I guess :)

I don't think I have ever come across a commercial entity that publicly lists its bugs/problems/development to anyone other than those involved in testing/resolution. There are many reasons for this ranging from not letting your competitors know what your doing/fixing to the negative feeling that users experience when they see their bug is #141342 on a list of 141350. I would much prefer the HM guys beaver away at fixing problems rather than expend energy listing problems... even just the top 10.

It is very, very strange to replay an interesting part of a poker session & having to visually search for where I am every hand. It doesn't happen when I play so it shouldn't happen in the replayer.

ALSO: I display some different stats for myself in the HUD to those for the villain's HUDs
So my hero HUD is a different size & shape to the villain HUDs
The Hero HUD fits best at a particular place on the table that works at the poker site, but doesn't work well at most seats in the replayer. An annoyance!
