HM not working

It was working till all of the sudden when I tried to open the program a pop up box comes up saying "holdem manager has stopped working"

I restarted the computer numerous times and still the same message. I need some help.

ive been having so many problems, you gave me the link to windows 7 and HM when I told you that I run vista

Is there a way i can just reinstall the software. I dont care if I lose my previous hands. Cause previously I installed and reinstalled postgres 4 separate times and lost all my hands anyway

Vista and Windows 7 are the same for this, thats why i gave you the link.

If you just reinstall Holdemmanager you will not loose your data, they are managed by Postgresql.

You could also try to be a little bit more specific about your system, HM version and the error message (screenshot?). So we can hopefully help you better.

Ok so this worked however I am having trouble importing from pokerstars:

I already looked at the faq, its just a quick question

In pstars under hand history option:

Is saving hands to history

saving to file c:\pokerimport

So In HM I add the same exact folder to import from, but I dont know what to do with the archive folder.

I think my problem is that i don't know which file to use as an archive folder

The archive folder is where HM moves the files after importing them.
This must be a different folder from the first one, the default is c:\hmarchive.
