Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

you the man fozz...

i used to have ptracker - the reason i stopped using it was after upgrades i used to get all kinds of postgres sql errors.

ive just installed HM on a brand new computer - but also want to install it on an old one

can you point me to the forum thread where it tells me how to get rid of postgres and related databases so i can install on teh old computer....

AND - one last question - i use two computers for play- i there any reasonable way for them to share a database?

:)

Make sure you export/backup any poker tracker hands or files you may need, before you uninstall postgresql.

It can be done over a network or with an external hard drive, but it is rather involved to setup. Most people export each PC's DB and then import them to the other machine. Once you do the initial bulk export/imports, you can use our workaround for filtered exporting.

A proper filtered export option will eventually be added to the database control panel window. There is a workaround now, as long as you arent trying to export very large numbers of hands.

Options > Hands View Column Selection > WinnerName, WinnerCards, and WinnerWon. You have to click it once to highlight it and then click the '-' button. Do that for all 3 of those column names. Save.

Go to the Hands tab > Clcik on All Hands (date filter button) > [x] This Month [x] All, to load all hands from this month.

Right-Click any hand > Export All Hands to Hard Drive

The hands are exported to C:\Program Files (x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\ExportedHands
