Hi!

I just recently started playing @ Ongame and got HEM up and running yesterday. No problems until today, where I noticed a discrepancy in the $ tally.

I play tournaments, and one tournament was not counted, because it did not have it's finish flag set. I looked at the hhs, and some of the hands from the end of the tourney were missing.

I tried to re-start the auto import, but nothing happened.

Then, I located the hand history file on my hard drive, and verified that all hands were there. And indeed they were.

Next, I instructed HEM to import from that specific file - but to no avail.

Is this a known problem? And if not, is there anywhere I can send my small (< 1MB) text file for analysis?

move the file to a different folder and try import file or import from folder.

If the file becomes to large the auto-import may fail. As Ongame locks the file while the ongame client is running the HM autoarchive is not working. So you need to delete the file regularly or you need to run the HM auto-import for at least 15 more minutes after closing the Ongame client.

Now the file had been moved through hem's archive function to my archive folder. I tried importing from there - after making sure the missing hands were still there - but nothing happened.

It still won't import them.

Regarding that last bit - was that why it failed this time? It was only around 300 hands or so...

You still need to copy the files to a different folder. HM knows which files he already used (in the archive). After the copy you should be able to import the file again. Another workaround would be to rename the file(s).

And yes that might be the reason for the fail.

I tried copying the files. That didn't work. So I copied and renamed. Didn't work either :(

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20754

If that doesnt help Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread, to support@holdemmanager.net

Got the hands, all of them imported with no errors. Yes, 3 tourneys incomplete.

Did you export the hands from Holdem Manager? The reason I ask is we export to File1, File2, etc. I can't find the missing Hand Histories in the files you sent.

Keep me posted,

Thanks,
-B

Yes I exported, fozzy asked me to. Would you like me to send the hand history files from my hh archive instead?

Yes, send the Hand Histories for the day in question from your Archive folder.

Sorry about the confusion.

Hi,

I searched our bug logs and it's in Que to get fixed. Fabio and I both reproduced the problem, now it's in the Programmers hands.

We'll try to send an email when it's fixed. You can also check out the release logs. It'll be posted in those when it's fixed too.

GL,
