Hand History Selection

I would like to know how i can keep hand histories in my database but have my hud work on 6 months old hand histories.
If that isnt possible, how can I delete only some hand histories from certain days so that my hud doesnt show them.

hud options--> additional HUD filters--> set the date filter to 6 months.
