The shortcut to my HEM program will not launch the program. When I attempt to run it, the following error message shows up:

"an error ocurred on startup: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

note the misspelled word "occurred". I've tried reinstalling HEM, completely removing/wiping out PostgreSQL files and reinstalling it according to your faqs. It still shows the error message. It may have something to do with upgrading to Windows service pack 2 this afternoon. Please get back to me with any additional information you may need, thanks!

-Did you first upgrade to SP1 (or already had SP1 installed) when you upgraded to SP2?

-Turn off the User Account Control on VISTA
-Do a chkdsk and defrag of you entire harddisk.
