Reboot your computer
Check the handhistory folders of your pokerclients, they should be empty except the latest handhistory files.

Is your harddisk nearly full?

The signature had an old forum link. It should work now to point you to the proper thread - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=11194

Are you using Import from Folder or the Start Auto Import? The latter is much slower than the first.

Have you tried making a new DB or reinstalling postgresql completely?

I would suggest the reinstall of postgresql - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=20755
