When using HEM and Auto Importing, I am having a problem where auto importing will work for a while, sometimes only a few hands per table, sometimes 50+ per table. Then, auto import stops, and while the HUD still appears on my tables, it doesn't update. The auto import message usually just says "importing new hand 1 of 1" or whatever it usually says for a while until I stop it. After i stop auto import, if I try to check my sessions or reports it will give me a "Failed to establish/connect to 127.0.0.1" and force a quit. After i stop/start postgres i can add the missing HHs through autoimport and review sessions, but once I start playing, it seems that auto import always fails.

1. Using newest beta version of HEM (1.10 BETA 6)
2. I play Full Tilt 6max NLHE
3. Settings are correct, used HEM for trial (15 days) and never had problem.
4. Folders are correct, see 3.
5. See 3.
6. Yes
7. Yes, in english
8. Using windows XP
9. See attached.

Thanks for the help. I read something that it may be a memory error, but seeing as it had been working until a few days ago, I figured it may be some other problem. I haven't yet tried to reinstall Postgres and was looking to avoid it.

Which version of postgresql and how long has it been installed? Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20754

I'm using PostgreSQL 8.3 and it's been installed for about 30 days or so, maybe a little bit longer. I have no firewall up currently, and use McAfee anti-virus, but I have that turned off as well. I tried creating a new database, imported some hands, then went to play some with the HUD. The same thing happened, it stopped almost immediately and after I hit stop, it gave me a failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 error. Also, when I first opened the new database, I got a "Error occurred while retrieving imported file list: FATAL 57P03: Database system is in recovery mode." I stop/started postgres and tried again after first auto import attempt, and the same thing happened without the FATAL error message.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

I would suggest you reinstall postgresql 8.4 clean and rebuild your DB via import.
