I use win XP, newest HM, and on fulltilt when I take notes the notebox hides under the table. I don't know if it's your issue or FTP, but it didn't occur when I was using PT3. Any fix?

Which notes box? Please open a new thread and post a screenshot.
Hi
I have a problem with HM - as stated I play on FTP and when I double click on my opponent to take a note the FTP note popup is now a pop under - it hides under the table. The problem has about 90% occurrence it sometimes does not exist but it makes note taking a nightmare (and I want to have notes stored in FTP not HM).

Here is a screenshot of the problem. I clicked on bottom right table on the guy named B1NGBLANGBAL0W and note box appeared under the table window, I had to click the other window (not it becomes visible), click + hold the window and drag it from under the table. Because whenever I click the popup / that table it hides again. I positioned the note popup just over this table so you can see that it has lower index than the window itself.

Also the problem doesn't exist in PT3 so I think your software does it, not FTP. I tried with FTP options "display table on action" on and off and it doesn't matter. Please tell me a solution to it, or fix the problem :)

Are you using the HUD Options > Tables Preferences > [x] Force on Top? If so, try turning it off.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

I'm not using the force on top.
I have win XP so no vista / w7 issues.
I have no antivirus and only windows firewall.
I have latest .NET 3.5 installed as I'm C# developer ;)

Windows auto updates are on. I'll download beta / latest graphics driver and try again.

Downloaded current release today, have latest drivers. Problem still exists. Sorry for the delayed response.

Please post screenshots of your table preferences and player preferences settings (for your active Hud) and attach the file config/holdemmanager.config.

That looks fine for me - any 3rd party software like AHK scripts, table ninja or sth. else in use?

None.
It also happens with only HM / FTP and system startup programs running.

Also problem was mentioned here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/internet-poker/ftp-answers-12-17-a-660775/

3. Yes the note box behind the table is still happening. This also happens with the confirmation box when closing a table. XP SP3 + HEM
But I don't really read 2+2

This seems to occur rather rarely, at the moment we have no idea what can cause it.
It might help us to take a look at your system via teamviewer:
Please schedule a remote support session with our support. Email support@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name, so we can setup a Teamviewer (http://www.holdemmanager.net/teamviewer) session.

For me it happens like 99% of the time.
I've send an email.

Apparently (hopefully) solved by the FTP software update today.
